CURRENTLY
Head Coach at Hadley Wood Tennis Club since April 1996.
Main role to oversee Coaching & playing opportunities for Mini, Junior & Adult players.
During the last 14 years the Mini & Junior coaching & competing opportunities have increased significantly. We now run between 17 – 20 coaching sessions a week for players aged 3 – 15 yrs old and Hadley Wood teams compete in Middlesex leagues from 8/u Red through to 16/under age groups.
Ladies Teams: the numbers of Ladies playing team Tennis has increased. Hadley Wood run 3 Teams in the Middlesex Summer & Winter Floodlite leagues, 1 team in the Summer Aegon Team & Summer Middlesex Cup competitions.
Referee to the Hadley Wood Tournament, supported by the LTA. Runs during October each year.
Key job for 2010: guide the club to achieve Tennis Clubmark.

WORK in PERFORMANCE
Currently working with a 9/u Orange player: Nathan Fernandes. Notable successes for Nathan: qualified for all 3 Grand Prix (national) events by winning County then Regional tournaments.
Grand Prix results for Nathan: Bisham Abbey: 3rd , Bolton Arena 5th & Cardif, Wales 5th . Invited to 9/u Masters event on Sun 14 March 2010 at the National Tennis Centre.
Regularly invited to South East regional training & in March 2010 invited to the South East Talent ID day. |

12 years Teaching Physical Education in Secondary Schools. Achieved Head of Physical Education in 1993.
2 years part time teacher of Physical Education in a Primary School. |

COACHING EXPERIENCE
1992-1998 LTA South East Regional Centre of Tennis Excellence, Sutton, Surrey. In charge of twenty County Juniors and four National Juniors.
1998-2007 Racquets Manager at David Lloyd Ealing - Running the entire Racquets Programme for over 4,000 members in addition to employing and overseeing six LTA Coaches.
Also gained full Tennis Scholerships for four pupils to Harrow, Repton and Millfield Schools.

PLAYING EXPERIENCE
Highest LTA Ranking 2.3 - National Public Schoolboy Finalist. Played for Surrey County. Captained St. Georges Hill LTC Weybridge in Surrey County Premiership and National League Premiership winning the Surrey Cup. |

COACHING COST
£35 per hour for individual lessons. Special offer - pay £180 in advance for 6 lessons and save £30.
Non-members welcome for coaching. Also providing professional raquet restringing service. |
