All players; whatever their age & ability will have the opportunity to achieve their full potential in Tennis.
A hard working but fun and enjoyable environment will be created. The Tennis Club will be a place where players want to come & play Tennis.
In return; we expect players to show enthusiasm, determination & commitment to improve their performance in both social and match play. A good attitude & positive effort must be demonstrated at all times.
Hadley Wood 9u mixed team won 1st division in Middlesex Aegon competition. Congratulations to Nathan Fernandes, Alex & George Carter, Sophie Ashing & Lucy Kelly.
Middlesex Tour Finals: A number of Hadley Wood players qualified & were invited to play.

10u Green event: Nathan Fernandes - Winner & Liam Babwah
Nathan Fernandes; 9 year old Orange 1 player, has achieved great success over the
last 8 months.
Coached by Chris, Nathan has worked very hard to develop & strengthen his game.
He has regularly won County & regional tournaments. From this success he qualified
for 3 Grand Prix National events which culminated in an invitation to the end of the Winter
Season Master event held at the National Tennis centre in Roehampton.
Recently he has led Hadley Wood 9u Orange team; with Alex & George Carter, Lucy Kelly
& Sophie Ashing in Middlesex Division 1matches. Currently leading the group with one match to play.
At the end of May Nathan was invited to the National Talent ID day run by the LTA. He was put through a number of physical fitness, technical & drill tests as well as matches to observe tactical
development.
On Wednesday 9 June Nathan represented the South East against the West Midlands and
has been invited to play at Wimbledon on the middle Saturday of the grand slam event in a
demonstration event. Well done Nathan. Keep up the good work.

Boys Final: Jay Kaposi beat Stefan Walker 6-2, 6-4
Girls Final: Sasha Ferguson beat Julia Brand 1-6, 6-4, 1-0 (9)
Congratulations to both Jay & Sasha who have both qualified to compete in the County Finals stage at Esporta, Northwood over the weekend 10/11 July.
Success at this event will play at the All England Club, Wimbledon in August.
Hadley Wood Tennis Club Singles event for Girls & Boys 14 and under - Born 1996 - 1999
This is initially a club based Singles event with the Winning Boy & Girl invited to the County Finals at Esporta, Northwood.
Winners of the County event have a chance of being invited to the National Finals at Wimbledon in August.

This runs every Thursday 6pm to 7.30pm. Its free for Junior Members and costs £4 for Non members. Ideal for players using Yellow Tennnis Balls. To include Matchplay and Fun Games. Coach organised by Charlie 07817 234971
This will take place on Tuesdays 4.30-5.30pm during school term times [not holidays]. Members free of charge and non-members £3 per session. Girls and boys 10 and under using red, orange and green balls. All standards welcome, just turn up and play.
